About
A register, read across states
Community-association management is licensed in eight jurisdictions, not fifty. Each publishes its own extract on its own schedule and in its own format, and nobody reads them together.
Dwellory compiles them into one record keyed on the registered entity, and everything else on the site is a cut of it: by county, by expiry cohort, by firm.
What it is for
Answering questions about a registered entity: whether a firm is licensed, where the firms are, how many are entering and leaving, and when a cohort of licences expires.
What it is not
Not legal advice, and not a determination of anyone's standing. Dwellory records what the state registers say and when they said it. A licence status here is a reading of a public extract on a stated date, not a verification, and it must never be used to decide whether a person or firm may act. See the methodology for exactly which figures are read from the source and which are derived here.
